Miss Stephanie ~ Director/Teacher

Miss Stephanie has been dancing for over 20 years. She grew up dancing at the former "Milford School of Dancing." There, she was a member of the "Jazz Workshop" for 7 years; performing for many events and charities, and competed in New York City for 3 years throughout High School.

After High School, Miss Stephanie received her Associate's Degree in Entertainment Management from Bay State College in Boston. She also received her Bachelor's Degree from Bridgewater State University in Dance Education. There she was a member of the BSC Dance Company, choreographed and danced in Winterdance, Kaleidoscope and The Indian Nutcracker. Throughout college, Miss Stephanie continued to take dance classes in Boston, including studying with the "Lost Unkown" Hip Hop crew from Boston.

5 Years prior to opening MDC in 2011, Miss Stephanie had been a teacher and assistant at "Tracey's Dance Center."

Miss Stephanie is also a licensed ZUMBA Instructor. She has been taking Zumba classes since 2008, and received her license in July of 2011. Her passion for dance and love for Latin style music made her fall in love with Zumba!! Miss Stephanie is a member of the "Zumba Instructor Network" and plans to attent her first Zumba Convention.

Miss Stephanie's dream was always to be a "Rockette," until the day she stood in front of a class and taught. The gift of being able to teach and pass on the passion was the most rewarding experience for her. She continues her education in Dance Education by still taking classes, and participating in as many dance/education conventions.

Miss Lizzie ~ Assistant

Miss Lizzie is 19, and has been dancing since the age of 3. She started at the age of 2 at her Grandmother's former dance school, “The Milford School of Dancing.” At the age of ten, Miss Lizzie started assisting along side her grandmother and continued for three years until the close of the studio in 2006. In 2008 she started teaching again at “Tracey’s Dance Center”. She choreographed her first piece in the 2010 Recital.

Miss Lizzie has also been involved in the Milford Theatre Workshop. She was featured in "Some Like it Hot."

Miss Lizzie graduated in 2012, when she was a Jazz, Tap, Ballet and Hip Hop Company member.

Miss Lizzie is our assistant for Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday classes.

Miss Katie ~ Receptionist/Assistant

Miss Katie is 17 and has been dancing since the age of 3. She started dancing at her Grandmother's Studio, "The Milford School of Dancing," and then continued at "Tracey's Dance Center" where she was also the receptionist for the last 3 years.

Miss Katie is responsible for checking in all students, collecting payments, answering the telephone, and is our resident "babysitter" in the waiting room during Visitor's Week!

Miss Katie is also an assistant for our baby classes!

Miss Katie is currently a Company member in Jazz, Tap, Ballet & Hip Hop.

Miss Kerrilyn ~ Assistant

Miss Kerrilyn is 21, and had been dancing since the age of 2. She started taking lessons at the age of 3 at "The Milford School of Dancing," and continued at "Tracey's Dance Center." There, she was a studio assistant for 4 years.

Miss Kerrilyn graduated in 2010 from BVT, Salutatorian of her class. She currently attends Worcester State University for Biology.

Miss Kerrilyn is our Monday and Wednesday Assistant.

Miss Alex ~ Assistant

Miss Alex is 20, and has been dancing since the age of 2. She grew up dancing at "The Milford School of Dancing" and finished at "Tracey's Dance Center." There she was an Assisant for all 5 years.

After High School, Miss Alex went to Roger Williams College, where she was member of the Dance Team and participated in the Winter Dance Show.

Miss Alex is our Assistant on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Susanne ~ Zumba Instructor

Hi, I’m Susanne Gurman and I became a licensed instructor because I am OBSESSED with Zumba! I hate working out at the gym but I love to get my groove on. So I get my workout moving to the beat, burning up to 800 calories an hour, and the entire time I feel like I’m at a party. My philosophy is attitude and conviction. You don't have to know how to dance. You just need to feel comfortable enough to move your body with purpose and passion. It's easy! Come try it, I guarantee you will have a blast! I look forward to meeting you!
